“ A night to remember We rode to the restaurant and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and traditional aesthetic of the place. The owners are a young family of 4 and we were served by both parents and their child who brought us our drinks. We ordered the food of the day, which was absolutely delicious, and had warmed chocolate cake for dessert. We were so charmed by the atmosphere and took our time before leaving to ride back to the train station. When we left we found that one of our bike tyres was flat! Luckily the father of the family, Sebastian, swept into action and changed the tyre in his garage! We made the train and thank him so much for his help :) would give this place 6/5 if we could! ”

“ Beautiful campervan pitch in a green setting, which can also be used during the week! Electricity is available! The owners, Sebastian and Corinna, are very friendly! The restaurant with beer garden is only open on Saturdays and Sundays! A weekly changing daily special (pre-ordering is recommended as it's limited!!) plus a vegetarian option, delicious sausage salad, cold cuts platters, and cakes are on the menu! We would definitely come back while passing through because of the great location and the friendly service!! ”

“ We stopped here on Friday after a hike and were warmly welcomed with a shandy and a snack platter (two slices of bread). In the very inviting beer garden under the ancient linden tree, the two of us enjoyed the delicious and lovingly arranged snack. Cheerful brass band music played in the background, and more and more guests gradually arrived. To finish, we couldn't resist and treated ourselves to a freshly baked apple pie with meringue and a cheesecake, naturally with coffee! A courageous young family has settled here and revived an old inn! If you like, you can also arrive with a campervan; there are great pitches, naturally with lovely views! Highly recommended! Keep it up! Perhaps one day there will be a holiday apartment with a beautiful view? We would love to be guests!! ”
